Dinner with Dad Thursday, January 29^th	Students (boys and girls) get a chance to take their Dad or another important male figure in their lives out for dinner, entertainment and prize winning raffles. Picture keepsakes are available to purchase at the event. We need plenty of volunteers to make this a successful event.

February 4^th & 8^th Parent Teacher Conferences	It is always nice to provide our teachers with a meal during these long days. If
February 11^th Valentine’s Day Party	The PTO will provide a treat for each classroom, and room Moms/Parents will organize each classroom party.
moved to Friday, March 26^st Winter Carnival	This is a HUGE event, and many volunteers are needed to make this a fun filled family night. There are many areas in which you can assist; prizes, Chinese Auction, bake sale, games and food! Calling all PTO TROOPS – organizing this event should begin soon!

Book Fair - TBA	Students and parents have the opportunity to purchase new books and software from Scholastics. Volunteers will be needed to help set-up, take down and work a shift during this sale to assist students in their purchases.
Friday, March 19^th Fun in the Sun	Every one enjoys chasing away the winter blues with this fun activity. Volunteers are needed to pack lunches, and another 2-3 volunteers will be needed to pass out ice cream treats.

Kindergarten Registration - TBA	Parents are needed to assist Hilltop staff with registering children entering Kindergarten for the next school year.
Tuesday, April 13^th COSI	Many volunteers will be needed to aid the COSI staff. This is a fun learning experience, in which students have the opportunity participate in various hands-on science experiments and demonstrations.

Thursday, May 6^th Staff Appreciation Day	This is our opportunity to say thank you to the teachers and staff for the wonderful job they do all year. Volunteers are needed to bake, cook or prepare items at home and bring them to the school for a buffet luncheon for the Hilltop staff.
Friday, May 14^th Student Appreciation Day	This is a fun end of the year event in which the students and teachers are treated to a sundae bar! Volunteers are needed to help DISH-OUT at the sundae bar!
